\u00dclkemizde 31 May\u0131s tarihinden bu yana me\u015fru ve bar\u0131\u015f\u00e7\u0131l toplumsal olaylarda g\u00fcvenlik g\u00fc\u00e7leri taraf\u0131ndan \u201cg\u00f6steri kontrol ajanlar\u0131\u201d olarak adland\u0131r\u0131lan kimyasal gazlar vah\u015fice kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.<\/p>\n

15 Haziran gecesi yeniden ba\u015flayan polis sald\u0131r\u0131lar\u0131n\u0131n alanda hizmet veren sa\u011fl\u0131k hizmetlerini i\u015flevsiz k\u0131lmas\u0131, yaral\u0131lar\u0131n t\u00fcm\u00fcyle yard\u0131ms\u0131z kalmas\u0131 \u00f6ncesinde, savunmas\u0131z kitlelerin \u00fczerine hedef g\u00f6zeterek uygulanan kimyasal gazlar\u0131n sa\u011fl\u0131k etkilerini de\u015fifre etmek i\u00e7in T\u00fcrk Tabipleri Birli\u011fi bir \u00e7al\u0131\u015fma ba\u015flatm\u0131\u015f ve 1 hafta i\u00e7inde 11 bin ki\u015fi gazdan etkilenme bilgilerini iletmi\u015ftir.<\/p>\n

Profesyonel maske kullananlar\u0131n oran\u0131 sadece % 13 olan ve % 65\u2019i 20-29 ya\u015f grubundaki bu ki\u015filerin biber gaz\u0131 \/ g\u00f6z ya\u015fart\u0131c\u0131 gaz bulunan ortamda toplam olarak bulunma s\u00fcresi sorunun boyutunu i\u015faret etmektedir.\u00a0 Farkl\u0131 zamanlarda farkl\u0131 s\u00fcrelerde maruz kald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirten 11.164 yan\u0131t vard\u0131r ve bu yan\u0131tlar\u0131n sadece %10\u2019u bir saatten az maruz kald\u0131klar\u0131n\u0131 belirtmi\u015flerdir. %53\u2019\u00fc ise farkl\u0131 zamanlarda toplam 1-8 saat aras\u0131nda kimyasallara maruz kald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtmektedir. %11\u2019i ise 20-24 saat maruz kald\u0131\u011f\u0131n\u0131 belirtmektedir. Kimyasal gazlar\u0131n bulundu\u011fu ortamlarda bir g\u00fcnden fazla kalman\u0131n t\u00fcm sa\u011fl\u0131k belirtilerini artt\u0131rd\u0131\u011f\u0131 saptanm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bu veriler yan\u0131tlay\u0131c\u0131lar\u0131n farkl\u0131 zamanlarda ve s\u00fcrelerde toplamda saatlerce gazla kar\u015f\u0131la\u015ft\u0131klar\u0131na i\u015faret etmektedir<\/p>\n

15 Haziran gecesi \u00f6ncesinde gaz fi\u015fe\u011fi nedeniyle toplam yaralanma say\u0131s\u0131 788 (%7) olarak tespit edilmi\u015ftir.\u00a0 Bu veriler gaz bombalar\u0131n\u0131n insanlar\u0131 hedef alarak ate\u015flendi\u011fini d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcnd\u00fcrmektedir. Bunlar\u0131n \u00f6nemli bir k\u0131sm\u0131 \u00f6l\u00fcmc\u00fcl olabilecek ba\u015f, y\u00fcz, g\u00f6\u011f\u00fcs, kar\u0131n b\u00f6lgesine yap\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Yaralanmalar\u0131n % 20\u2019si a\u00e7\u0131k yara ve k\u0131r\u0131kt\u0131r.<\/p>\n

Yan\u0131tlayanlar\u0131n yar\u0131s\u0131 yard\u0131m alm\u0131\u015f, bunlar\u0131n ise sadece % 5\u2019i hastanelere ba\u015fvurmu\u015ftur. Hastaneye ba\u015fvuranlar\u0131n fi\u015fleniyor olmas\u0131 bunda etken olmaktad\u0131r. G\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc hekimleri organize eden \u0130stanbul Tabip Odam\u0131z hakk\u0131nda bu davran\u0131\u015f\u0131n su\u00e7 olu\u015fturdu\u011fu ileri s\u00fcr\u00fclerek Sa\u011fl\u0131k Bakanl\u0131\u011f\u0131nca soru\u015fturma a\u00e7\u0131lm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Bug\u00fcn \u0130stanbul\u2019da g\u00f6n\u00fcll\u00fc sa\u011fl\u0131k hizmeti verirken bir hekim ve bir t\u0131p \u00f6\u011frencisi elleri kelep\u00e7elenerek g\u00f6zalt\u0131na al\u0131nm\u0131\u015ft\u0131r. Hekimleri g\u00f6zalt\u0131na alma giri\u015fimleri konusunda \u00e7ok say\u0131da bilgi ula\u015ft\u0131r\u0131lmaktad\u0131r. T\u00fcrkiye bu cad\u0131 av\u0131n\u0131 hak etmemektedir.<\/p>\n

URGENT CALL FROM TURKISH MEDICAL ASSOCIATION<\/strong><\/p>\n

Since May 31st 2013 the peaceful and legitimate demonstrations are tried to be suppressed by the police. The police forces are using chemical gases savagely on the unprotected civil masses.<\/p>\n

Before complete blockage of health assistance to the injured people and the preclusion of the functioning of health services by the police attacks, that took place once more again on the night of\u00a0 June 15th , Turkish Medical Association was started a web based survey in order to disclose the dangerous health effects of these gases targeted at defenseless people and in one week period, over 11 thousand of people declared that they have been effected by the gas.<\/p>\n

65% of the repliers were between 20-29 years of age and professional protecting mask usage was only 13%. The total duration of exposure was evaluated among 11.164 replies. 53% declared that they have exposed to the chemical gases 1-8 hours where 11% exposed more than 20 hours.\u00a0 Exposing the chemical gases more than one day increases the prevalance of the systemic symptoms, especially cardiovasculer symptoms.\u00a0 These data shows the dimensions of the problem.<\/p>\n

Before the 15th of June disaster the total number of injuries were 788 (%7). These data shows that the gas bombs were targeted the people. Many of them were the injuries of head, face, eyes, thorax and abdomen which could be fatal. 20% of the injuries were open sores and fractures.<\/p>\n

Only 5% of the people were admitted to hospitals. The tagging of the people who are admitting to the hospitals is preventing people from going to the hospitals in order to ask medical assistance. Ministry of Health opened an investigation about Istanbul Chamber of Medicine which is organizing the volunteer physicians\u2019 work. In Istanbul one physician an done medical student handcuffed and detained.\u00a0 There are many other informations about the detaining of health care staff. These data shows the witch-hunt in Turkey.<\/p>\n

Turkish Medical Association making calls to the government to act responsibly and stop the barbaric violence immediately.\u00a0 As Turkish Medical Association it is our responsibility to inform the international community. We urgently call the international community to act against brutal suppression of democratic demands.<\/p>\n
